Yeah, I would agree with that.
If you're the HOH then I'm safe anyways, so that's basically immunity for one week.
If Lauren's getting 1k from Dani then that should be enough to get her to 2nd place, unless one Barney, David or Kam has more than Lauren even after giving away 1k to Klaus, which is possible.

If we know for sure that Lauren would be the 2nd getter, then I'm definitely on board with that plan.
