Miscellaneous Thoughts

Day 1:
- Brenda seems like she could be new to the game because she messed up her profile picture and had to fix it -- seems sociable and likable tho
- Reggie seems experienced potentially because she was the first to post and already had her pfp set up properly -- very dry with me tho, so idk
- Jason seems friendly -- social threat? Too early to tell, but I like him quite a bit
- Bayleigh, Max, and Baby Yoda might be new because of the profile thing as well -- all seem sweet, tho I am a little intimidated talking to Yoda for some reason sksks idk how to respond to him sometimes
- Random Idea: if people start thinking I’m me, “accidentally” let it slip that I’m playing games with my roomie and use he/him pronouns for said roommate. Perhaps then edit it to “fix it” to she/her. 1) Makes me look sloppy/less together, 2) “proves” it’s not me -- this is just a random thought for much later lol idk
- First impression of Max is that he a lil awkward but in a likable way, should talk to him
- Bayleigh is rlly nice, I feel like I should’ve used more exclamation points in my first reply to her
- Brenda!! I like her so much -- need to talk to her more post HOH
- Pre HOH Brenda says I’d have nothing to worry about if she wins HOH, I promise the same
- Pre HOH Bayleigh says I’d have nothing to worry about either, I also promise the same
- Reggie seems a little dry, which might be good to have on my side; I’d rather team up with less socially eloquent people for late game

- Talked to Nicki because she seemed to be late, wanna talk to Shego too -- if one of them stays, they might feel isolated and want to stick to me if I grab them now
- Miss Steak I feel good with; Robbie I feel good enough with but he’s friendly, so he could be good with everyone (same goes for Miss Steak, especially if all the votes go to the two of them, they might have a harder time picking noms. Hopefully I can skate by and try to win HOH next week to build more solid rapport with people).
Robbie and I have to talk more about movies lmfao I think that’s a good way to make him open up
Baby Yoda is intimidating but very friendly, both from NY, and he’s super lighthearted, so I’m bonding more with him
- Basically, I’m feeling pretty good right now! My plan is to win the next HOH to solidify myself with some deals, and for now, just be friendly with Robbie and Steak (Steak I think really likes me, and I like her too; Robbie is a little more intimidating, and I’d be worried about him late game as a social threat. I’d like to see them both play a skill comp tho, because if they’re beatable, it doesn’t really matter as much how great they are if it’s ONLY socially. We shall see). ALSO: In the future these DR's will be less jumbled and more coherent I promise <3

Day 2 Synopsis of thoughts (broken into separate messages):

So, the two main “alliances” I know of are “10/10 Vision, "consisting of:

Zach, Big Miss Steak, Connor, me, Max, Blossom, Amber, Simba, Hilary, Jason & Reggie

AND

The other unnamed 8, consisting of :

Bayleigh, Robbie, Yoda, Nick, Doja, Brenda & Nicki.

Now, that would all be well and good if any of these people were actually loyal to these groups. The main issue is that the 8 is, from my perception, a solid, well-performing group, while the 10 is quite literally a conglomerate of the least relevant players, who are all awkward, and slightly less strategic (aside from Miss Steak, though she is a bit messy, there is still logic in her theory that a group of misfits SHOULD want to work together, but it was in her execution of lack of warning everyone where she failed). So many of those in the 10 had/have never spoken to one another, and though a few of them seem to be mindless sheep willing to do what Miss Steak wants, they will be her sheep, not my sheep. Though those sheep could end up being a good unit who would be less difficult to have a handle on, I don’t feel as though I have enough rapport with any of them as to where I’d not be on the bottom of the group.

The problem with the 8 is that I’d likely be on the bottom with a lot of the players as well, BUT, I do believe I have Robbie to some extent, and I have Yoda to some extent. Also, Amber is an outlier but not voting with the 10, so I could keep her close as well. In addition, I probably will have plausible deniability about my vote because there is SO much up in the air this week. Jason, too, is not voting with the 10, so there is a dispersion of the blame.

My issue is that I’m stuck between two groups, but I voted against my gut, which was probably a mistake long term -- short term, I think I’m fine either way, one side will go for Steak, the other will go for Doja, and both might throw inactives in still -- but long term, Doja is active, Lucas and Shego are not, so if they BOTH go, that would suck a lot, especially abrasive queen shego who has no one and likes me well enough.

Logically, also, Doja Cat is TIGHT with Bayleigh. Very tight. She is likely tight with Brenda as well. I’ve always liked Bayleigh and Brenda, but they were distant, and it’s clearly because they already were getting a group going without me in it, and I’m just on the side. Now I have to worry about being lumped in with the 10 even though I voted according to what the 8 want.

Furthermore, I think Bayleigh is the brains of the operation as of now. Doja is more messy, Bay seems to reel them all in. Brenda isn’t super forthcoming because she has her allegiances, and also, another issue I have is that I’m clearly disposable to them. They were trying to tell me as well as others how to vote but not explaining their reasonings why, meaning they clearly had to discuss among their alliances before coming back to give me answers. Barking orders at me rather than discussing the vote with me or including me is annoying, but for now I’m fine with appearing weak-willed and spineless; later I’m willing to make strong moves, and I need them to be unexpected to pack the most punch and so that said moves can go down with the least resistance. Now I need to be non-threatening, because I have to remember this is no 16 person game, it’s 22. At 16 you should start slow, so 22??? A snail’s pace is necessary baby. I hate it, because I’m not a very patient person, but I don’t think I should do much of anything other than continue to foster the connections I already have for now.

Anyway, back to why I wish I’d voted Doja: I feel as though the votes are going to go down 6-5-5, with Lucas evicted, and Shego evicted on a TIE vote. If I could have prevented a tie and sent Doja home, I could have deniability on both sides, AND a much bigger threat/active player is out. I think Doja likes me and would not target me by any means, but neither would Shego, and Shego isn’t doing a damn thing in this game. Lucas, while definitely not with me, per se, is basically no one. Again, short-term, everything is perfectly fine, but long term, I’d much rather have an inactive player than the most chaotic player in the house around. If I stay on her good side, I’m good, but late game, I don’t want to be on the bottom of HER alliance, I’d rather the inactives be on the bottom of something of my own… Hence another reason why the little band of misfits could have been good to stick with. Simba and Max seem to have no social game, and would do as they’re told, not talking to others much. Connor, too, feels awkward, like Reggie, and would likely be doing less. Overall, I think working with less social players is a better move, and in choosing Doja, I chose smarter players, which was a mistake. Hopefully I can just pretend that I am with the 10 so that eventually I can convince them I’m with them. Too many intelligent individuals in the 8, it’s just risky.

My thought process in my rushed vote was “just get a vote in to get your bonus BBQ bucks,” and “the 10 is so incredibly unlikely to vote together since I don’t know where they’re at, that it would be dumb to be on the wrong side of the vote just to accomplish nothing with a bunch of people I don’t talk to.”

I figured there was no need to go out on a for a last minute alliance, but then again, the other alliance doesn’t really need me much either.

Overall, I think Bay, Brenda, and Doja might be a core trio, with Nicki as a close fourth, and maybe with Tiffany as a side deal. I think Robbie and Yoda are the best at playing the middle, but honestly I would feel good playing with the middle people, because I would also be very much in the middle -- not a short term target, but expendable to anyone. I’d like me, Jason, Robbie, and Yoda to play the middle for a while, and maybe Amber and Blossom could be included in that as well, since those two were in the 10, but do not seem to wanna do what Steak wants. I actually really like Amber.

As for the Miss Steak group, I think the core followers for her are Connor, Reggie, and Hilary. Max and Simba seem to more so be there fore the ride, and I think Zach might be doing his own thing. I'll probably draw a chart for my very-inaccurate perception soon, but either way, I think the fours listed are the main extremes who may shoot for each other, which would be nice for a while. Honestly, might not gun for HOH yet and will wait another week potentially

Also, kinda wanna make the "Messy for Cent" thread, but also... for free?? Also the little evil emojis make it sound foreboding, with my luck, the messiness will be exposed for the sake of some twist sksks... But also, in regards to my thoughts on the prompt, I disagree with the renom and think that if she was gonna put up someone on the other side, she shouldve done someone likable and smart like Bayleigh, not someone mediocre at best who makes herself a target all the time.

Also, I can't believe I'm literally active alllllll day without logging off once, yet I'm still a completely irrelevant player in this game!! Kinda nice that I can do the most and talk a lot without being looked at as strange for it, but on the other hand, it's crazy that one can do a lot in this game with little reward or recognition, so that is something to keep in mind for later

Well, I’m glad the vote went exactly as I expected with it being 6-5-5-0, the tie sending home Shego.. I’m a little frustrated because that confirms I could have sent home the more active player, Doja Cat, but at least I guess I can say I have a good idea as to where everybody falls. I feel as though I know 90% of the votes, so that’ll help me navigate in the future. I feel confident that I don’t need the next HOH because I am in the middle, but on the other hand I’m definitely expendable, and probably look suspicious to the 10. Hopefully the Girls United group earns me some favor with the more powerful side of the house. It was impressive how they got the whole house to vote that way and split it exactly down the middle between Lucas and Shego. That’s definitely something to look out for, I really do think they have a lot of influence and power, so I’m hoping that the underdog side of the 10 can take a shot at them as soon as possible.
