I just want a normal summer! I wanna be able to go to the beach and the movies and whatnot. I miss those times. I'm actually feeling refreshed right now though.

I feel that honestly I'm just missing normality we took so much for granted before I feel like when this is all over we'll appreciate everything a lot more

We really didn't expect this to last this long. I thought I was going home for spring break and would be back the next week, but NOPE! It's close to a year!

yupp at the start I honestly thought it would just blow over and before I knew it we were locked down and it was spreading worldwide it's crazy the impact its had and how bad its spread. It's also been scary how badly our government has handled it all. They made spread aot more than it should.

100% agreed and we could've been back to "normal" a long time ago

yupp 100% I think it's all been handled poorly in favour of the economy and not peoples lives. Like we've lost so many here and it's really sad. So far I've been lucky not to catch it but I'm really careful. I see people still going out and mingling and it's like what dont you understand????

yes! and of course my governor doesn't want to close anything down so the bars are packed with people and I feel so helpless and sad

I hope it's as early as that I honestly dont see the end at this stage but that's just because I dint want to get my Hope's up if you know what I mean? Hopefully you're right and by summer things will start feel a little more normal

No I get what you mean. The isolation was the worst part. I have family who work in healthcare/I couldn't visit and it was the toughest thing for me.

Aww that sucks I haveike a similar thing I've not really been allowed to see my gran because she has underlying conditions and I'm wtressing to much about picking it up and passing it on to her. I think I've seen her like 3 or 4 times during this whole pandemic? It sucks but it has to be done

yeah at first it felt like i was alone in my experiences and then as the year progressed I realized more and more people's mental health took a toll.
