Just want to explain how I handle things when you get evicted.
#1: As soon as I post eviction, I waddle on over to my admin panel & I remove your access to Private Messages #2: Once I removed your Private Message access, I remove your from your individual group. This means you lose access to ALL private rooms you're in & you lose access to your Diary Room #3: I add you to the Evicted Lounge/Jury House depending what part of the game we're in
Now, your name does not change colours until step #4 when I remove you from the Houseguest group
#4: I remove you from the Houseguest group AFTER you have posted your goodbyes OR after 24 hours if you do not post anything. Of course if I'm in the shower when someone posts their goodbyes, it might take me a minute to remove them after said goodbye. If I'm wiping my ass when the 24 hours hits, it might take me a few more minutes to remove them <3.
Moral of the story is, I give everyone time to say goodbye. If you choose not to say anything, I won't force you but you get 24 hours & then you lose your chance

Just to clear up, even if someone is still yellow, it only means they can still post in the eviction thread. They CANNOT see private rooms anymore & they CANNOT Private Message anyone.

not me reading this title and thinking someone did something drastic in prejury and got removed from the game entirely

No no nothing bad happened. I just had people asking me questions when a name was still yellow post eviction so I wanted to clear the air. I don't want people worried.
