That is very fair and a good point. It’s just even if you do take me, I fear I can’t win. I know I’ve shown strength in this game but I’ll also admit my game this season had many flaws and was messy in many instances. It might be the messiest I’ve played. To make up for some of that mess I feel like I need a move that’s going to be respected, like taking you out.

You’re forgetting something. You’re not the only one competing in the f4 veto. If you happen to lose, that’s going to happen regardless of if I’m there. If you have me there, then it will double your chances at staying. I will not nominate you in the initial round. I know nominations don’t matter but I can use that as an excuse to not nominate you. Then I can win veto and just keep nominations the same. It will confuse the fuck out of the jury and then my own credibility goes down, but I feel like both of us are articulate enough to give speeches to the jury that they’ll be able to overlook, yours included.

You think you’ve played a messy game but I feel like you’re selling yourself short. You’re easily one of the best players this season and I have no qualms going against you. You have to see that if we both make finals together, then I will have done some moves that’ll alienate some jury votes as well.

If I make finals with you, it essentially means I cut the throats of both Nathan and Megan, and that’s two jury votes I will lose. So then it just becomes more balanced instead of innate bias.

I know you want a challenge. I’m not saying I’m winning either. I feel like our speeches will be so passionate and iconic. It’ll be the euphoria we need after such a sloggish season.

That’s true, and I know that, but what if you don’t win hoh and one of them win it? You have the highest odds of winning veto, you save yourself and decide it’s time for me to go? Or worse, you win HOH, we both lose veto like today, and I’m forced to be nominated and I’m gone. While, yes, that could happen in any circumstance, but what I’m also saying is if you’re HOH, it’s not like you can be a vote to keep me. None of them are likely to be a vote to keep me anyway, but in my mind the risk is really greater than the reward at this point, because only certain scenarios are going to help me get further. It’s already final 4, and I feel like winning veto myself is much more likely than winning veto and then beating you of all people in final HOH. If I’ve played a great game, I’m sure I could have a chance of winning, but if a jury sees me not take you out when there’s a chance, especially a jury full of newbies, I don’t think there’s much of a way to spin it to be respectable to them. Of course we could both alienate jury votes, but do I really need to take that risk?

Either of us cut Megan we lose her vote, but Nathan is understanding enough to vote for you. You’ve been with him all season. Also, I know I’d lose Steven’s right now.

And I do like a challenge, but I feel like it’s BEEN a challenge all season long to even get you in this position. I still feel like I’m in a position where it’ll be a challenge, veto is do or die next week, so while I’d love to have a speech against you, I want to be able to get there for sure. I really just don’t know how I could trust you taking me like you say when you’re in a position rn where you NEED to say anything

If one of them win HOH then that guarantees we are nominated against each other. It means we control each other’s fate or someone picking between us. I really don’t think Megan is going to win a veto lmfao. Would you rather I just throw HOH to Nathan to secure us being on an even playing field? I literally have no qualms with that.

Also my thing is you know I would never be bitter if you cut me even after this conversation. That scares me. I can fake a lot... but I can’t pretend to be a bitter juror. You go back on this deal you KNOW I’d still vote for you. Maybe I’m just thinking that way because it’s what I’d be tempted to do. But that’s what I’m thinking rn

I know you’re offering the world right now but I just don’t think I can risk it. If you’re lying my odds of winning anything go way down, I know you have an edge against me in a lot of these competitions.

And again, as much as I know your play style, you also know mine. You know you can betray me after this and then win Final HOH and still get all my respect; even if you did feel bad about it, I could see you doing it for the sake of securing that win. Especially because I don’t think I could take you at F3 should I win that, and I don’t want to risk losing that.

Please. I am not going back on this deal. I am being 100% sincere. I really have no desire to win a game by winning by default. I mean obviously it’s a lot more work than people give us credit for but if I’m up against Megan that’s the most imbalanced match up ever. So that is off the table. I even told the red team that if I made final 4 with them and like Megan, I would boot her over them even if they were closer to each other. I feel like they’d be more deserving than her.

So then I guess that leaves Nathan. I know you’re worried about red staying true but I feel like that’s so boring now. It’s super predictable and while I think he’s a worthy adversary I feel like the two of us had to fight a lot more than they did so it just seems appropriate that the last two standing are the first two people to win competitions.

I mean I’d be willing to take a red team member to a final over Megan. I do see that as respectable. I just see taking YOU as the red team member as illogical. I know you don’t want to win by default, but in that case there’s always Nathan, who has played a great game too, but who would likely be a bit more logical to take than one another. I’m sorry Hermione, I hear you, but I really don’t think I can do this :/ my thing is always optimizing my odds, and I’ve been consistent in cutting anyone if I think it’ll do so, so I don’t think I can make an exception right now. Not when we’re so close to the end. I’m really sorry
