ride or die?

Not sure if there is ever a true ride or die, but when someone thinks you are entertaining, are trustworthy, and add an intellectual component to the game? That might be a ride or die. We'll see, but so far there is zero chance I'd vote against Syd. Good person and it seems a solid allie.
