It annoys me every time I see how much they vilify her that season. I've read many articles and listened to different interviews where people discuss that. I mean, yeah she probably shouldn't have damaged the production equipment, but that twist really did come out of left field. It's not like they had set any kind of precedence beforehand that it could even show up this season. I don't get how they can hint at something like the battle back in BB13 but then not even hint at a coup detat, which hadn't even been seen since season 7. Especially with the golden boy, ugh. Let's forget that ever happened.

Girl I didn’t want to pull the race card but you’re not wrong. That or they just don’t now how to handle minority groups. They focus too much on trying to find their quota (1-2 AA, maybe a Latino, a gay, etc) and it’s ridiculous. I think I’ve read stuff where people talk about the casting process and it’s ridiculous when I see things like “I was applying for BB and I knew what I was getting into when I noticed a lot of people with the same archetype as me (I’m gay so they were looking for their token gay and there were many at the hotel).” Like why must they select one? I understand character archetypes but they’re too busy compartmentalizing people into these stereotypes. Why are you looking for “the token Asian” instead of “the real life villain” or “the neurotic strategist”?
