Lisa Donahue's Plea - I need opinions

Come on in guys,

I woke up today and see that some of you have been touched by Lisa's efforts and you got creative in trying to convince me. Valid points were made IE on the show votes can keep changing to the last minute and all that beautiful stuff.

I don't want to delay too much but I want to reward passion and I see that some of you are passionate about me changing my mind. I also get that we are still in the early stages so ~bending~ some rules will not be detrimental right now.

I still feel a little uneasy doing it though so I will open up the floor to you all.

I will delay eviction 2 hours and want to know what as many of you think. I don't want to mess with anyone's game by changing things.

You don't have to talk on here about it, you can go to your Diary Room but I would like to know if a majority wants me to allow a vote change this time.

Let me know what you think, again, here or in your Diary Room. If you would change your vote, please also tell me who you change it to.

I understand where you're coming from
But as a player who has been playing since day 1
I DON'T think we should bend the rules for someone who decided to finally come and play on day 4

My opinion is...

Maybe now moving forward instead of the house jumping the gun to vote. Maybe give the nominees a chance to plea their cases before we all make a decision

I think if it were anyone that had been active even relatively recently, people would have chilled, but we all were like Oh well they haven't been on in forever.

Yeah, that's a no from me, too. While I had hella fun fuckin around in that thread last night, I'm not changing my vote. I get that we are all busy - I have a full time job and a life outside of work - we have all made time during these last few days to be active. Even the less active posters have at least made effort to be here for a challenge or two. Lisa didn't pop in at all. Cent goes to school. He still makes an effort to pop in a few times a day.

So, no. Don't bend the rules. It sets a precedent for others to complain when things don't go their way in the future.

I think it’s probably best to keep with the rules for this seasons atleast but rather we should all take this as a lesson to not vote immediately because a lot can change from the veto ceremony to the eviction.

I didn't want to be that stubborn host who won't listen to points being made by the cast so this is why I wanted to open up the floor to discussion but I have never fully felt right altering the rules because it will set some things in motion I don't want to deal with for the rest of the season.

Just wanted to make sure I let you all have a voice though. Eviction will be posted in an hour or so. I am a bit busy with work right now.

To avoid this situation in the future I agree with with Davonne about not rushing to cast eviction votes immediately. We do have a deadline but for whatever reason we are in a rush to make that decision right away.

I think it gives everyone a fair chance to campaign.
Campaigning may or may not work but the effort is appreciated.

I think if i were in thesame situation i would love the opportunity to try before im cancelled lol

Thats good

Gives the nominees enough time to hopefully plea their case
