When I was reading the old seasons, it looks like the DPOV was only used once, back in season 1. In season 2, one person had it and literally avoided so many nominations because nobody wanted to put her up to flush out her DPOV and she ended up winning the game. And in season 3 nobody even purchased it at all.

This season I for sure see it being used. I think there are too many threats to not use it.

Well if they don’t use it at all and make it far it means their social game was adequate enough to never be nominated.

I think having it also calms people down. Whoever has it knows they have it and more importantly, nobody else has it. They can play the game bolder than they normally would. Whoever doesn’t have it is gonna be cautious every round until it expires or is used.
