That makes sense. It’s so mind boggling that April is so secure with her position in the game that she has not even made any attempts at communicating. I do think she has a ton of people wrapped around her finger which is alarming but yeah I figured it would be be nearly impossible. I mean even if I did nominate her and justify it, there is no way I would campaign to get her out to these people because the minute my plan fails it would be backfire tremendously on me and I would certainly become the next one targeted. If she went up it would just be a throwaway line of “oh we don’t talk much; here you go” instead of making a speech on why she should go. That always blows up in peoples faces so I’m definitely not doing that.

Haha when I talk about planning ahead, I don’t mean actually laying out a map on the table and discussing war strategy. I just mean having an idea of what we want to do. I try to think a few steps ahead and think of scenarios and have backup plans and backup plans to those backup plans. I’m not really a “YOLO” type of person.

I love the planning, really. I am all for it. The one thing about this game that I'm sure you know, is things change all the time. I think we know what we have to do if April remains on the block sometime. But its different being without power than being with power. You immediately get targeted if you do aything of merit as HOH lol.

Yeah I know things change all the time which is why I’m not super into pushing any agenda right now. I also know that if I say something too early it can easily go back to April and I would most certainly be the one evicted. I do trust you a lot in this game though so I don’t mind just voicing my thoughts to you. For me it’s always important to think about short term and long term goals. Long term she needs to go but short term we might have to settle for just weakening her influence or at least taking out the wildcards.

I agree with you. And it goes without saying that what stays here, stays here. Obviously either one of us would be fucked if that target got out. Maybe we just focus on the people around her until then.

Well I appreciate that! I’m fine with taking out her perimeters. I’m fine with taking out Adam for sure. I do think a good nomination would be Hottie/April because a big name would go out regardless (again, later down the line and preferably in a way where you and I avoid any kind of public culpability). I am really curious to see what more twists come in now that double/nothing is gone. Maybe it’ll be something that benefits us. I saw last season they had this twist where people could win HOH anonymously and give it to someone else. Not the worst thing this time around.

I think Johnny might need to be our shield there. He's obviously gonna nominate Kelly again if he ever gets the chance, so if we can protect him this week, he can take them out for us.

Yeah I’m definitely fine with that. I do like that he’s pretty consistent in challenges. That’s definitely someone that would be good to have on our side, you know?

Do we have any idea how Rob or Skeeter would run their HOH if they got into power? I know they have voted in the minority (Rob) or have been targeted when on the block (Skeeter). I would assume they have an incentive to actually do well in the competition and get some power, which Skeeter has shown he’s down for as per the results of the HOH last night. But what would they actually do? I’m not going to lie, even though there isn’t an all-out male vs female divide, there does seem to be an unspoken rule among the women to not nominate each other. So obviously that doesn’t bode well with you, a male (I mean I guess, but you’re a beast so does that even count?)

Haha yes I would tend to agree with that thought - but I like to think I straddle the line of male and female  

I would trust Skeeter not to put us up before Rob, that's for sure. I think Skeeter would likely shoot for whoever tried to take him out. He might even go for Christian. I haven't heard any names from Skeeter as of late. Rob seems to be focused on getting people out he doesn't talk to

Haha fair enough. I tend to be more of a tomboy so to me the whole male/female dichotomy is so irrelevant. It reminds me on Survivor when I see people look at the gay guy and are like “hEs GoOd WiTh ThE gIrLs BeCaUsE hE gAy”. Such an archaic way of thinking.

Skeeter can definitely go for whoever he wants. I think he and I have similar taste in people so I’m not super concerned. The only thing I’m worried about is Christian but I mean if he does go after him, it’s Christian’s fault for burning that bridge that early. I wouldn’t want Christian to go though so we’d have to just see what kind of setup we have. Rob and I haven’t spoken much so I guess I should go hit him up sometime. I do like Rob though because he’s a straight shooter. Plus I used to have a crush on the real Rob a long time ago so I just naturally like him haha. It is such an awful way to go about it but you know what, sometimes you want to just be around people you like, even if it’s not on a game level. There’s nothing wrong with that!

Anyway I decided to go reach out to April since she’ll be sticking around for a while. This should be fun haha.

Work has been hectic lol

The way she told me in her first message that she had to vote out Dua for being a challenge threat. That’s already a red flag for me, especially given I did fine last night. I’ll have to become her Nicole Richie I guess!!

What’s going on at work?

Work has just been wild so I've been only able to check in here every like hour rofl so I feel like I'm missing everything. We just have a big project that we are bidding on so we want to be perfect lol. I have an *actual NDA* on it so I can't go too much into it right now ut if we get it I'll show you the spot! 

Sometimes I text too fast for this forum. I think its cause my computer is so slow, so I’ve started typing in notes and just copy and pasting rofl.
 
To what you said earlier, I think we can gauge who we can actually protect pretty well after an HOH. If we have the power to save Christian, we do it. If we can’t, then unfortunately that’s the tea. :/ 


I just so much want to make jury that I’m trying to be everyone’s friend — but I guess that didn’t work for Dua. 

Haha well luckily today when you get out you can catch up on all the excitement. And hopefully you’re not missing anything major!! But yeah that sounds amazing! The idea of a NDA is amusing. It sounds so top secret, like you’re in the CIA. For some reason I can just imagine Beast Boy in a professional looking suit and it cracks me up.

Yeah I noticed the notes thing, because for some reason if you copy/paste it, it defaults the text to a size 17 font, which is why some of your words will randomly be bigger than normal (like your previous post).

Part of me is inclined to think Christian has enough hands in cookie jars to survive an eviction, but again it just depends on who he is up against.

The way I wanted to come into this game only socializing with people who approached me and then quickly realized I need to be more proactive with my strategy. At least I have you to be appreciative of!!

Haha I literally had the same idea but then when I ended day 1 with only four people talking to me, I realized I had to up my game a bit lol.

I feel you on Christian. I agree there. He can prolly fend for himself until he is matched up against a fellow alliance member.

Hahaha exactly. I remember day one, nobody was talking to me after I said hello, but then once I sassed Adam in public I randomly received a ton of fan mail! I guess people love characters with a personality. I don’t even consider myself really snarky or anything but I guess I have my moments. It was a mostly effective strategy but it didn’t cover everyone like Hange, Klaus, Rob, etc. I think you’re playing a phenomenal game tbh. It’s clear you’re very smart and savvy, but not in an annoying way either, and you’re really likable. And no, I don’t see it as a reason for me to go after you or anything, because you have suckered me into liking you a lot, so much that if I don’t win, you winning would be just as good!! Unless you backstab me, then I’ll be sad!!

I love Christian but he’s definitely not playing the game I thought he’d play. He’s a lot more emotional than I thought and his decisions are a bit questionable. To his credit though, he did ask me about his second nominations before and I was able to talk to him, and he did ask me for advice on the replacement nominee but unfortunately I wasn’t around that night. So I’m hoping it wouldn’t happen again but I feel like in a game like this you can only have so many chances before we have to say enough is enough. I think I might be too nice when it comes to him and for as long as I can I will defend him but if he continues to make moves that jeopardizes our alliance then I just have to cut him off. Hopefully it doesn’t come to that, and I do think he’s scrappy enough to survive a vote, so there’s that.
