I feel like it's weird to add someone to your team late into the game, like that would just create distrust in the team chat since their true allegiance would be in their first team. But i can also see it as building a solid trust with another person for the team. It has pros and cons.

Agreed. It makes more sense if I was a coach and I wasn’t playing the game and the more players I had, the better. But with the current setup I don’t think there’s much incentive.
