Thanks for being a good sport all things considered. I mentioned in the jury house that you had made the right moves in theory but the biggest flaw was the inactivity. I saw potential there though. I know you have a life outside of the game though <3

The Final Twist
We have one more twist to announce before I reveal the Trainers.
Before the theme for this season was Pokémon themed, we had an idea for a second chance type of season with a big twist. We started the BBQ8 casting with that in mind, but then it became rather challenging & once I decided to use Pokémon as a theme, it didn't seem to work as well. I instead decided to use that twist on a smaller scale & make it fit the theme.
The Trainers might have sounded off at times to some of you, or even been inconsistent at time & there's a good reason for it.
Each Trainer is actually played by

Each Trainer is actually comprised of a past BBQ player we deem a social player & one past BBQ player that we deem a challenge player. We wanted them to be able to train all of you in all aspects of the game, but we also wanted to add an extra layer to their twist.
It might sound like an advantage & it probably was at times, but it's also an obstacle & I saw it happen live more than once. For example, the implosion of Korra came because both players could not agree on their strategy. Hermione lost the endurance because she thought the other person was posting when it was Steven messing around. There was even a time when Cynthia lost a challenge because the social half of her sent the wrong answers. The players behind Nessa didn't always agree either. The list goes on.
Because of this twist, we did want to make it clear that the trainers were vets & capable ones at that. It was no secret that they could handle themselves & should be out sooner than later. We even did the bounty to give incentives to get them out amongst other things to make their paths harder (which I know Hermione mentioned how hard it was for the Trainers yesterday).
Anyway, now that we have the last twist out of the way, I will reveal who the Trainer's were played by.
